We support and work with the community in a variety of ways:

Sunderland Food Bank

Harvest – 2022 – We are collecting Food to donate to the Food Bank in the week beginning 3rd October.

Thank you all for your kind donations for the Food Bank. The Food Bank have confirmed that our school collected 80kg of food which works out as 100 meals!

 

We are a drop off point for Sunderland Food Bank. Please help if you can. Below is a list of the items that they are in need of most this month:

Fruit Juice (Long life)

Sugar

Custard

Rice Pudding

Coffee

UHT Milk

Tinned Potatoes

Here we are handing over our huge collection to the Foodbank; the gentleman had to pop back and get more crates as we had collected much more than they anticipated!! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Harvest collection.

Community School Clothing Scheme

 

We are a drop off point for The Community School Clothing Scheme. You can donate pre-loved uniform, PE Kit or Nursery/baby items.

If you would like any pre-owned Grindon Infant School uniform then you can visit the store on Fawcett Street or contact the School Office.
