Permanent: KS1 Teaching Assistant
Part Time (20 hours per week- afternoons )
Term Time Only including Inset Days – 39 weeks)
Pay Scale: Grade 3

The Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (qualified to Level 3) to support KS1 children
We are looking for someone who:
- holds a relevant Level 3 Child Care or Teaching Assistant qualification
- is an outstanding, committed practitioner with high expectations for all children
- is proficient in supporting the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning in KS1, particularly phonics
- has knowledge and experience of delivering high quality phonics/early reading sessions that enable children to make good progress
- has a good understanding of the need for strategies to motivate and inspire all children to make good progress, particularly those in vulnerable groups
- will be an effective communicator and be keen to work in collaboration with colleagues
- will be flexible and resourceful whilst always putting the needs of the children first
- will be able to use their own initiative and work independently
- will have a commitment to their own professional development.
- will be prepared to be involved in the wider life of the school.
